Estradiol furoate (brand name Di-Folliculine), also known as 17-furoylestradiol or 17-(2-furancarbonyl)estradiol, is a semisynthetic, steroidal estrogen that is no longer marketed.[1] It is an estrogen ester, specifically, an ester of estradiol.[1] Estradiol benzoate, another estradiol ester, has also been marketed under the brand name Di-Folliculine.[2]
